Massive cleaning up campaign has been championed by A group of community volunteers, mainly youths in central Louisiana, Montserrado County, has extensively cleaned the township.
Several community youth groups, gathered in the township on the Friday, July 24, and thereafter, cleaned the roadsides for public safety.
According to the lead campaigner, Emeric D. Miller, the young people involvement in the process was their own way of contributing to society.
Miller said, the youth normally do the exercise during the July ‘26’ Independence week, and Christmas festivals.
In a statement, Miller said, the office of the commissioner supports the work with food, and other stuff.
He also commended the commissioner for mobilizing the young people in sports tournaments, and other engagements, including the roadside brushing.
