Liberian gospel musician Kanvee Adams, has called for a full investigation into the sudden death of Liberia Association of Gospel Musical Artists (LAGMA) President Miracle A. Kettor.
With her sudden death, questions continue to surround the circumstances that led to the passing of the prominent gospel figure.
Adams has urged the public to remain patient, and avoid spreading unconfirmed information, stressing that only a proper medical investigation can determine the actual cause of Kettor’s death. The call comes following reports that Kettor was pronounced dead on arrival at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center (JFK).
Adams said, Kettor’s family has not yet received an official explanation regarding the cause of death, making it necessary for medical experts to conduct a thorough examination.
She called for a qualified coroner, or pathologist as the only authority capable to establish the facts surrounding the death through professional procedures.
Adams also appealed to the Inspector General of the Liberia National Police, and other relevant authorities, to take the matter seriously, and ensure that a transparent and credible investigation is carried out. She described Miracle Kettor as a respected public figure whose work and leadership within gospel music community touched many lives.
Because of her influence, and contributions, Adams believes, the circumstances surrounding her sudden death deserve careful attention and clear answers.
The gospel musician expressed concern over claims circulating on social media, where some individuals have suggested possible causes of death, including heart attack and hypertension, without any official medical confirmation.
