‘WEAH DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE’ -REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATE ASSERTS BY: JULIUS KONTON
Montserrado County District # 16 Representative Candidate Franklin Sarkoh II has stressed the need for the political leader of the ruling Coalition For Democratic Change George Weah to be giving a second chance to lead his people.
According to him, the Liberian leader’s work over the period for his people are tangible reasons why he should be reelected.
Mr. Sarkoh said President Weah serves as an inspiration for the young people and the youthful population of the Country should do the needful for the betterment of the society.
He hailed President Weah for among other things helping to make the Country peaceful in the absence of external or foreign security presence and or assistance for several years unlike previous administration.
“President Weah is a true leader and has great plans for his people as such his re-election should be the priority of all Liberians especially the young people, ” he emphasized.
Sarkoh who is running on the ticket of the opposition Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia was an influential member of the ruling establishment youth league in District #16 and believes that the Chief Executive is a people center leader that has over the period helped to transform the lives of the young people and also believes in the empowerment of the future leaders, among others.
Speaking about his political ambition, the young politician said it is about time that the young people take up the challenge in order to make a difference.
” We have been on the fence for so long, we need to step up and take on the mantle of authority to lead our people because , they need us now,” he added.
Sarkoh pointed out that District sixteen deserves better with the rich potential it has and further stated that he will make such difference.
“I feel very sad to see my people suffer when people of trust and influence are there but cant do it for them,” he uttered.
However, Sarkoh vowed that he will ably represent his people under the slogan of his team: “Building Dreams and making the difference.
According to him, he knows the needs of his people and will work along with them through adequate advocacy to make the necessary interventions, going forward.
“I will engage into projects and activities that will help change the lives of my people”, he added.
He bragged that he will change the dynamics of politics within the district especially working with his impactful team members.
The professional accountant named Better representation, women and youth empowerment, sanitation , health care and educational opportunities as well as sound advocacy for his people as key areas he will focus on if elected Representative of District #16 Montserrado County.
The young politician at the same time urged his people to remain peaceful as always and to engaged the political process with issues base approaches and not character assassination.
