“UP Gov’t Wrongfully Proceeding” Lawmaker Claims

Representative Alex S. Noah of Sinoe County Electoral District #3  said  the Unity Party led- government headed by President Joseph N. Boakai, has been proceeding wrongly since taking over the leadership of the country, by action of unlawfully dismissing innocent Liberians from various government ministries and agencies for no tangible reason.The CDC lawmaker has noted that it is a wrong thing for a government to immediately begin to dismiss innocent citizens.  According to him, in the history of Liberia, the Boakai led- government is the only regime that has dismissed more Liberians than past  any government of the country.  Rep. Noah made the statement on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 when he appeared on the OK FM afternoon show in Monrovia.  The Sinoe County Lawmaker emphasized that for this government to take office and immediately start taking Liberians out of jobs indicates that she is not in the interest of the Liberian people.  Representative Nuoh stated that since he won the election, he has been working in the interest of his people at the House of Representatives.  According to him, he when to the Capitol Building to serve the country and its people rather than enriching himself.  The Sinoe County lawmaker disclosed that he had already started fulfilling some of the promises made to his people during the elections. He disclosed that within six months’ time, he provided to  Sinoe women, 5 million Liberian Dollars as revolving fund without any interest in return.  According to him, this was some of the promises made to his people during the elections. He explained that after the election, he went back to his people to appreciate them for his election. He also revisited those projects he started and completed during the campaign and those that were not completed.  The lawmaker said he has started the construction of a multi-purpose office in the district which is the first of it kinds in the history of Sinoe County. According to him, upon completion of the multi-purpose office, every organization in the district will have an office.  Representative Noah said recently he was in Ethiopia attending legislative functionary where he was opportune to have met an investor who has expressed interest of investing in Sinoe.  According to him, if this is possible, his people and the country stand to benefit job opportunity. Representative Noah further noted that his office is focusing on opening vocational school in the county while at the same time making intervention in the health sector of the district by purchasing an ambulance.
