The Strive Press Club has won the National Press Club Exhibition 6th edition for 2024 held at the Monrovia City Hall on Friday in Monrovia. This year National Press Club Exhibition brought together 12 schools press clubs to participate in the exhibition with three presenters from each school respectively. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the media exhibition by school press clubs , the Consultant of the United Nations Education Scientific Convention Organization(UNESCO), Joel Mutea said UNESCO support for journalism education is based on the conviction that professional journalistic standards are essential to being out the potential for media systems for democracy, dialogue and accountability  Mutea stated that UNESCO as United Nations Agency is working to promote rhythm of expression in both the real and digital world has worked tirelessly to ensure that journalism is in tune with the current wirld trends. Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Youth Media Action(YMA) Varmah Kamara want Liberian Government through the Ministry of Education to formulate policies that will include a course in journalism in the national curriculum. Kamara indicated that course in journalism will help to enhance students reading and writing skills which could prepare them for the job market after graduation from high school. He noted that majority of the community based radio stations recruit school press club members for effective broadcast of information in the counties. of the school press club to work with the station. He explained that the national press club exhibition is solely designed to showcase the media talents of young journalists who are members of different school press club work with YMA. Schools participated in the national press club exhibition were Kings and Queens International, Best Brain Academy, Tynceploh Educational Foundation, African Dream Academy, Zwedru Multilateral High School, William V.S. Tubman Gray, College of West Africa, Soltiamon Christian School System, Kingdom Inheritor Model School, Strive Press Club, World of Life International School and Immanuel Christian Academy. The presenters are divided into two categories which are high school and elementary, in the high school division, Strive Press Club came first, Zwedru Multilateral High School second and Kings and Queens International third while the elementary division, Kings and Queens International came first, Kingdom Inheritor Model School second and Soltiamon Christian School System third.
