Amid ongoing speculation about Montserrado County Senator Darius Dillon’s future political plans, his staunch supporter, Queen Johnson, has claimed that Dillon intends to run for the Senatorial seat in Grand Bassa County in 2029. Johnson posted on her official Facebook page, stating, “We know that you are preparing to seek votes in Grand Bassa come 2029.” Although Senator Dillon has consistently denied any intention to run for office in Grand Bassa in 2029, Johnson’s comments have fueled speculation about a potential shift in Dillon’s political strategy. Senator Dillon, a prominent figure from Grand Bassa County known for his influential presence and referred to as ‘The Light,’ has not clarified his future political plans. Meanwhile, it remains uncertain whether the current Senator, NyonbleeKarnga Lawrence, will seek a third term.
