In continuation of his support to the health sector of Lofa County and Liberia at large , Senator Momo Tarnuekollie Cyrus  has put smiles on the faces of staffers and officials of the Lutheran Hospital in Zorzor District, Lofa County. The hospital strategically situated in Zorzor District caters to thousands of citizens from Lofa and surrounding counties. During the institution’s celebration, Senator Cyrus presented two thousand United States Dollars and five drums of fuel oil to the Hospital as his way of identifying with that key health facility of the county and country at large. According to him, his gesture is to appreciate the Lutheran Hospital management team and staffers for their tireless efforts and high level of work done over the period in helping to save lives in the county and Liberia at large. Senator Cyrus during the presentation reiterated that good health care delivery for the people of Lofa and Liberia in general remains key under his priorities as Senator of the county. According to him, when his people are healthy and well, they can collectively help to the growth and development of the county and the county in general. The Lofa County Senator over the years has  been of great help and very supportive of the health care needs of Lofa County. It can be recalled that during his campaign period, he donated fuel oil drums and other essential health materials and equipment as well as cash to the Teleweyon Hospital in Voinjama City, Lofa County. He also identified with other health facilities during the Ebola and COVID- 19 Health crisis in Liberia respectively.  Demonstrating his love and care as well as his good leadership ability for his people as always,  Senator Cyrus informed the Lutheran Hospital senior officials to outlined some of their priority needs in order for him to submit them to the  Lofa Legislative Caucus for discussion in a drive to see the need to make some necessary interventions as leaders of the county and  the country  as a whole. Senator Cyrus used the occasion to encourage all well meaning Lofian leaders in and out of the County to help assist the Hospital. He re-emphasized the need for a collective approach by all Lofians in a united front to help move the county forward. The lack of Electricity in Lofa is one  of the key challenges affecting health facilities including the people in general.  At the same time, Bad roads and poverty are among other challenging issues affecting the fast growth and development of the county. Lofa County since establishment in 1964 is now exactly sixty years but continue to battle several issues and challenges like other Counties of Liberia.  However, with the vision, passion and determination to help transform the County through Senator Momo Cyrus including the Legislative Caucus of the County as well as prominent and eminent citizens of the County, hope is still alive for the Northen County and traditional  bread and basket of Liberia.
