RAVIA ANGELS FC UNVEILS NEW PRESIDENT, COACH AND OTHER SENIOR OFFICIALS BY: JULIUS KONTON
Ophelia Gotee has been officially unveiled as the new President of Ravia Angels Fc.
Ravia Angels Fc is an Upper Women Division Side expected to participate in the Liberia Football Association National League season in early September.
Unveiling President Gotee, the President of Life FC Ofori Nicholas Jr.said the Club is pleased to welcome their new President who he stated has brought new flavor and dynamism to the Club.
According to him, women football development has been a vital portion of the Chief Executive officer of the Club, Jodi Reid Seton’s agenda.
Throughout the years he said Madam Seton has worked hard to promote and develop the talents and skills of Young girls thereby assuring them that there is life outside of the pitch.
The club as part of its new plans for the new league season he disclosed also unveiled its new Coach Cecelia Alpha and Dixie M.J. W. Seboe as Vice President respectively.
The Upper Women Division side at the same time introduced for the first time what it terms as players buddy.
Players buddies are people who help in motivating players and are also responsible to promote and brand female players respectively.
The female club as part of their new plan unveiled two young determine and passionate women as their buddies to Include: Chantell L. Kailondo and Jonel F. Kanneh.
The two buddies pledged to work along with their players in order for them to achieve their respective goals.
“We are happy to be a part of Ravia Angels FC and we are committed to deliver to the core”, they added.
Earlier , the new President of the Club, Madam Gotee promise to be a team player assuring that she will support the Club with her time and everything.
” I am relatively new to this sector but I will work along with my team including our male counterparts in order for us to achieve our goal collectively” ,she added.
As for the new coach, Cecelia Alpha she pledged to win the league along with her technical team.
Meanwhile , the team is expected to begin training soon ahead of the new league season.
