PYJ Blames CDC For Illicit Drugs’ Outburst

111

Nimba County Senator Prince Yormie Johnson said the former ruling Coalition for Democratic Change Government of George Manneh Weah was an outbreak of widespread illicit drugs use in Liberia. The longest serving senator of Nimba County further described the Administration of former President George Manneh Weah, as a skin disease that destroyed the inner and outer layer of the Liberian people. Making the claim in Sanniquellie recently, Senator Johnson noted that though he previously supported the CDC regime, he later realized that the CDC Government struggled to attain state power in order to embezzle state resources and empty the national coffers at the detriment of the Liberian people. He emphasized that the former ruling Coalition for Democratic Change has lost its momentum within the country, calling on the people of Liberia not to put trust in the  CDC. Senator Johnson who is also chairman of the Nimba county Legislative Caucus, then used the occasion to thank Nimbaians for their support to the Unity Party in the 2023  elections and reaffirmed the Government commitment to improving every sector of the country,  assuring that Nimbaians will be prioritized under the Boakai-Koung Administration.
