Presbyterians Church Of Liberia End Annual Session
The Presbyterian Church of Liberia on Sunday November 24, 2024 ended its 166 Annual Session held at the First Presbyterian Church in Monrovia. According to the Vice Moderator elect of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Rev. Samuel S. Kwaidah, Liberians should know God for themselves and running behind miracles. Rev. Kwaidah noted that some Liberians are not concerned about the souls of their life but they are seeking for miracle material things and neglecting the true teaching of the word of God. He explained that as the result of their action towards getting miracle babies, husbands, wives, children among others, people are making business with wrong doctrine by the Bible. He stressed that Liberians should study the word of God by reading the Holy Bible regularly and avoid chasing and purchasing miracles which have not being able transform their situations. Rev. Kwaidah maintained that Liberians should abide by the word of God and desist from sin, adding that as the Apostle Paul urged the people of Rome to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God for a reasonable service. Meanwhile, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Liberia, Rev. Sanjee A.D. Stepter said members of the House of Representatives should stop holding the country hostage. Rev.Stepter stated that the members of the House of Representatives should put the interest of Liberia first and not themselves. She noted that the removal attempt of the battling Speaker J. Fonati Koffa is undermining the smooth operation of the government. At the same time, Rev. Stepter disclosed that the completion of a clinic and school projects in Bong County will be prioritized in 2025. According to her, the Presbyterian Church of Liberia intend to revamp the Todee Mission School to its pre-war status or more than before to help strengthen in education in Liberia. She noted that the Todee Mission School has contributed greatly towards the human resource development with high level disciplined of students who graduated from the school. Those elected of Presbyterian Church of Liberia (PCL)officers are Rev. Sanjee A.D. Stepter Careysburg Presbyterian Church Moderator, Rev. Samuel S. Kwaidah Trinity Presbyterian Church ,Vice Moderator, Rev. George W. Tugbeh Yekepa Presbyterian Church Stated Clerk, Rev. Solomon Garjaye Crozierville Presbyterian Church Assistant Stated Clerk, Ruling Elder Maurice Gayflor First Presbyterian Church Monrovia Treasurer and while Rev. Edward Y. Peters Crozierville Presbyterian Church was ordained.
