My land is enslaved by political witchcraft,
My land is often ruled by political witches,
My land is often ruled by political wizards.
My land is politically shaking and shaking,
For in the high places,
There is political witchcraft.
Political witchcraft prevails politically;
It is the power struggle that dominates,
It is corruption that whirls all around,
It is tribalism that continues to increase,
It is nepotism that continues to spread,
It is drug cartels that become established,
It is injustice that is commonly practiced,
It is the act of self-seeking that prevails.
It is the lack of vision
To lead a national mission,
It is keeping the poor enslaved in poverty,
It is the age-old greed
For power and wealth.
Political witchcraft has many faces,
And it hides behind many political masks.
It speaks the language of the people,
Yet often serves the interests of a few.
It promises liberation,
Yet can leave the people in bondage.
When power becomes the prize,
The nation becomes the battlefield;
When wealth becomes the ambition,
The poor become the victims.
My land needs leaders with vision,
Leaders with conscience,
Leaders with courage,
Leaders who will put country before self,
And people before power.
For political witchcraft must not
Become the destiny of a nation.
