Poetic Trumpet

Who to Trust?

0

Who can we really trust?

When all men are sinners?

When lies blaze like wildfire?

When enemies are the closest ones?

When the plain truth is always rejected?

When liars multiply intensely like flies?

When honesty is gradually disappearing?

When trust and confidence are losing their value?

When betrayers are growing mountain-high?

When scammers are multiplying exceptionally?

When wickedness is running at frightening speed?

Trust seems no longer to be firmly holding.

Trust is being rampantly abused all over the place.

Trust is gradually losing its assigned space.

Trust is slowly becoming a forgotten virtue.

Trust is fading beneath the weight of deception.

Who can we really trust

When smiles can conceal betrayal?

When promises can be wrapped in deception?

When friendship can hide hidden motives?

When honesty is treated like a stranger?

Who can we really trust

When the world is becoming increasingly uncertain?

Perhaps, we must trust with wisdom,

Love with caution,

Listen with discernment,

And let truth guide every step we take.
