NTA Management Assures New Buses
The Management of the National Transit Authority (NTA) has assured that 35 new buses are expected to arrive in Liberia at the end of September 2025.
According to the Managing Director of NTA, Edmund Forh, the vehicles are 60 which comprises of 62 seated buses which are 35, 18 seated buses which are 20 and five cargo vehicles.
Director Forh made the disclosure Wednesday when he was honored for the major transformation of the entity in a short period of time under his leadership held at the NTA’s Compound in Gardernesville outside Monrovia.
He indicated that when the buses arrive in Liberia, these buses will provide transport services to civil servant in other ministries and agencies of government, students of the University of Liberia and the public across the country.
He maintained that NTA will provide quality transportation service to the Liberian people, noting that President Joseph Nyumah Boakai was elected to serve the people through different ministries and agencies of government and the NTA is no exception.
Director Forh disclosed that currently the foundation of the administration building for the NTA has been laid to erect the building which is expected to be completed in 2026.
According to him, the NTA’s Compound has been maintained properly with good toilet facility for the employees and managerial staff.
He lauded the managerial team of NTA for their commitment and dedication for the smooth function of the entity, despite the limited buses in operation.
Director Forh emphasized that the new buses are on their way to Liberia, thanks to President Boakai and his government for making everything possible to procure these buses for the Liberian people.
