For one simple reason, the government has announced that motorcyclists will “very soon” get back in the main streets of Monrovia from where they were recently banned.”
The reason, according to the government is “a cyclist will be required to register with the Okada Motto.”
The Okada Motto, if properly coordinated, will like the
Uber Technologies, Inc. an American multinational transportation company that provides ride-hailing services, courier services, food delivery and freight transport.
It operates in approximately 70 countries and 15,000 cities worldwide.
Recently, VP Koung launched the Okada Motto App in Paynesville and it a percentage for both parties to generate funds.
Per the terms and conditions of the agreement, motorcyclists are asked ply the main street.
We have been reliably informed by some motorcyclists that the government has trashed the first registration on grounds that it was not properly done with the relevant authority, but certain group.
As such, for them to use the main streets, each cyclist must register with the Ghanaian Company.
According to our sources, about 200 motorcyclists have registered and will begin using the Tubman
Boulevard next week.
The Process means if a motorcyclist is registered with Okada Motto, that rider don’t have to be at the normal parking lot like other unregistered motorcyclists.
Once a passenger contacts the Okada App that he/she wants to go to town and is around ELWA-Rehab, Okada will now contact its nearest registered rider who will go and take the passenger to his/her desire location.
If the passengers pay L$300, Lonestar will deduct her percentage, while Okada Motto will take theirs and whatever remains there will be given to the cyclist.
Note! Okada Motto will not buy you a motorbike during the registration a cyclist will be given a helmet and a customized Okada Jacket for easy identification.
