Madam Tellewoe Kaine Jimmie, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Medical Diagnostic Clinic, has announced a ‘free medical outreach’ program targeting 150 beneficiaries, with a special focus on pregnant women. The initiative, Madam Jimmie said, aims to promote community health. she meanwhile, called for teamwork in achieving the clinic’s mission.
“This honor is not just for me, but for my entire team. In the healthcare sector, teamwork matters.” She further reinforced her commitment to serve humanity with passion, declaring: “I have taken it as an obligation to advocate for my patients, especially the most vulnerable ones.”
The outreach program is scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2026, to provide essential medical services to those who may not have had access to proper healthcare over the years.
“We want to encourage pregnant women and children to come to our facility. This free service is a way to give back to the community, and ensure that everyone has access to proper healthcare.”
While reflecting on the challenges faced since the clinic started operation in 2000, Madam Jimmie, shared her experiences of providing healthcare in a community that lack adequate medical facilities. “People often come to the clinic without any means to pay for their treatment. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to save lives.” In addition to address the immediate healthcare needs, the clinic aims to foster a supportive environment for patients. “Some of the patients will come stressed out; they need compassion and understanding. I often encourage all healthcare workers to treat them with patience and care, as doing so can significantly impact their experience and recovery.” As part of its outreach efforts, the Clinic plans to expand its services beyond the initial event. As such, Madam Jimmie has future plans to conduct similar health services in various communities, with an anticipated outreach to 100 pregnant women and 50 children. Madam Jimmie’s dedication to her patients and community was recognized recently when she was awarded Health Practitioner of the Year for 2025. She was honored by a group under the Banner: “Excellent Media Incorporated” as a testament for hard work and commitment to providing healthcare. The outreach initiative reflects the clinic’s ongoing mission to improve health outcomes in the community, and provide essential services to those in need.
With a team of trained technicians and nurses ready to serve, the Medical Diagnostic Clinic invites all eligible beneficiaries to participate in this vital health initiative.
