The document, Madam Dagoseh said, aligns with the performance management compliance systems agreed upon with President Joseph Nyuma Boakai. The Plan is an initiative being made possible through the support of the Cassava Transformation Project. The project, enables the hiring of a consultant to guide the process. “This draft will undergo a validation process with our external stakeholders to ensure their comments, and insights are incorporated. Once finalized, the document will be submitted for approval, paving the way for its execution.” Madam Dagoseh highlighted the importance of the initiative, as well as expressed gratitude for the continuous support of stakeholders. She said the LiSA plays a crucial role in providing necessary services that promote trade, and support small and medium-sized enterprises.  “The Ministry of Commerce and Industry recognizes that a robust quality infrastructure is fundamental for effective industrial development, and consumer protection in a globalized economy. I therefore urge all stakeholders to engage actively in the consultation process, and provide constructive feedback that will strengthen the strategic plan.”  Madam Dagoseh also acknowledged the challenges posed by compliance with national, regional, and international standards. She admitted that adherence was no longer optional.  “We must work together to ensure that our standards serve as a catalyst for innovation, productivity, and inclusive economic growth.” Madam Dagoseh then expressed optimism about the trade future and quality infrastructure.  “We are fully committed to support the implementation of the Strategic Plan, and work closely with the LiSA and our partners.” LiSA’s Director General, Stephen Y.
