Liberia Expands Global Partnerships -As Five Ambassadors Present Letters Of Credence To Boakai

Liberia continues to strengthen its international ties as five new Ambassadors have presented their Letters of Credence to President Joseph Nyumah Boakai at the Executive Mansion Tuesday, February 4, 2025. 

The newly accredited envoys represent: 

Cuba– H.E. Mrs. Indira Lopez Arguelles 

India – H.E. Mr. MnojBigari Verma 

Brazil– H.E. Mrs. Mariana Gonzales Madeira 

Japan– H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Yoshimoto 

Equatorial Guinea – H.E. Mr. Moises MbaNchama

President Boakai warmly welcomed the Ambassadors and expressed Liberia’s commitment to working closely with their countries.  He praised them for their support in key areas such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, trade, and agriculture.   The President also spoke about his ARREST Agenda, which focuses on Agriculture, Roads, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism.  He emphasized that Liberia is open to strong partnerships that align with these priorities and bring real benefits to the people.   “Liberia values its relationship with your nations. We look forward to working together to create opportunities that improve lives and strengthen our economies,” President Boakai said.   The presentation of Letters of Credence marks another step forward in Liberia’s efforts to attract investment, expand trade, and promote sustainable development through international cooperation.
