LDEA Officers Accused Of Aggravated Assault
Two officers from the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) are now facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly attacking a female Community Watch Forum officer in Compound Lakey-Ta Township, Margibi County. The incident occurred on December 25, 2024, during the Christmas celebrations. According to reports, the female officer was performing her duties when the two LDEA officers identified as Sando Kollie and Solomon Joe, allegedly assaulted her, causing serious injuries. The suspects were arrested and held at Kakata Police Station before being formally charged. Their case has been sent to the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Margibi County for prosecution.
