A resident of Bong County Electoral District #2 has delivered a blistering criticism of Representative James M. Kolleh.

James Sumo questioned the lawmaker’s performance and accused him of “failing to provide meaningful representation since taking office following the 2022 electoral dispute.”

Sumor who spoke in Dor Ta, Bong County, said, many residents have become increasingly frustrated by a lack of visible development, legislative accomplishments, and accountability from their elected representative.

Sumo said, nearly four years into Kolleh’s tenure, locals have waited for a comprehensive report detailing what Kolleh has achieved on behalf of District #2.

“What has he done for us? We elected a representative to advocate for our interests, but the inhabitants have struggled to identify the benefits of his time in office.”

Sumo claimed that there is little evidence of significant legislative initiatives, or oversight efforts that have directly improved the lives of the ordinaries.

“We have not seen the kind of representation we expected. The district continues to face major challenges, yet, there is little to show in terms of progress.”

Sumo pointed to deplorable road conditions affecting communities throughout the district.

He also highlighted the difficulties facing schools without adequate support.

“Our roads remain in terrible condition, making transportation difficult for farmers, students, and business people. Schools are challenged; communities are struggling.”

Sumo further alleged that Kolleh appears more visible on social media than finding efforts to address the district’s pressing development concerns. Though Kolleh is yet to respond to the statement, Sumo has meanwhile, called on him to publicly account for his stewardship, and explain how his years in office have benefited Electoral District #2.
