Imam Abdullah School Graduates Cautioned
The Political Affairs Officers in the office of Montserrado County Electoral District #14 Representative, Kerkula Muka Kamara, Varmuayah A. Fofana, has admonished graduates of the Imam Abdullah A. Tunis Islamic Institute to remain focus and take their education seriously. He reminded the graduates of the vital they got to play in the rebuilding process of Liberia. Representative Kamara Political Affairs Officer told the students that education is the bedrock to the growth and development of any nations. Fofana made the statement over the weekend at program marking the 34th Graduation Exercise of the Imam Abdullah A. Tunis Islamic Institute when he proxy for his boss. According to him, parents have vital role to play in monitoring their kids education. He stated that these parents are only after paying their kids school fees without making any efforts to monitor their school activities. He noted that it is wrong thing for any parents to do in any society to leave all of their kids education activities on schools administration. The Political Affairs Officers said parents should see themselves as partner to schools’ administrations. He told the gathering that Liberia can only get better when parents are helping school administration to monitor their kids’ education. Representative Kamara Political Affairs Officer reminded parents of the vital role they get to play in protecting their kids’ future. He reminded the administration of the Imam Abdullah A. Tunis Islamic Institute of the role they get to play in monitoring the education activities. He called on school administration to desist from employing unqualified teachers in their various schools. Fofana also urged school administration to make it their sole responsibility to regularly monitor students and teacher’s interaction. For his part, the Principal of the Imam Abdullah A. Tunis Islamic Institute lauded the teaching staff for impacting quality education into kids over the years. According to him, there were many challenges by the Grace Almighty Allah they overcome those challenges. Principal Yahya A. Kiazolu called on the students to press forward for higher education. According to him, the school operates two sections which include: Arabic and English. Principal Kiazolu stated that the institution code value is Arabic. He noted that over the years the institution could not have achieved without support from the parents. Educator Ziazolu informed the gathering that over the years their kids have been performing excellently. He disclosed that plans are in the making for the school to be extended to Senior High. Principal Ziazolu stated that this dream can come to reality with the good support from the parents. According to him, the total enrollment of the school year is 347.
