“I’M Here On Divine Assignment” -Bishop Imakando Discloses
The Bishop and Founder of the Bread of Life Redemption Cathedral, with the largest auditorium in Zambia, Bishop Joseph Imakando, has disclosed that he is currently visiting Liberia on a Divine assignment. He made the assertion at programs marking the 20thanniversary of the church which was held at the Christ Redemption World Outreach Ministries, also known as the Redemption Cathedral in Brewerville. Bishop Imakando who is visiting Liberia for the third time has been preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 1976. According to him, it is about time that Liberians put aside their difference, forget the former things and move ahead by doing new things that will make their lives better. He is therefore urging the children of God to stop pondering over the past as if there is no hope, something he said will not help them but rather inflict wounds on their memories and make them become stagnated in life. Bishop Imakando noted that God wants to do a new thing in the lives of every Liberian, as such the Church should take the lead by letting the past to go if He (God)is to intervene, because He specializes in new things and not old ones. “Gone are the days when men were living in elusion and fantasy, because there is a danger in doing such and God will not act until we as people do away with the past,” he said. The Bishop who is also a motivational conference speaker with over one hundred and seventy-two mission churches under him, indicated that before God blesses anyone, they must let go the past, stating that man has the tendency to live in the past which he said is not healthy for their well-being.The Prelate said this is time that believers release the past, because God is not interesting in old thing but rather the present. For his part, the Apostle of the Christ Redemption World Outreach Ministries, Joseph Nuefville, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to God for allowing him to lead his people over the last two decades. Apostle Nuefville charged his congregation to get ready for the supernatural move of God in their individual lives and communities. “We need to unite and pray, let us take God’s words serious by studying and meditating at all times, because God is about to do new things in our lives and at the same time take the Ministry to the next level,” he noted.
