Liberia is now mourning the death of former Statesman, Cletus Segbe Wotorson. According to reports, the former Grand Kru County Senator died on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the age of eighty-seven. Hailed from Grand Cess, Grand Kru County, South Eastern Liberia, The late Senator Wotorson was born on March 13, 1937 and got elected Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate on March 26, 2009 during the Administration of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. He was a seasoned politician and professional geologist who has impacted the lives of several Liberians that are currently serving the society. Β The late Statesman also served as former Minister of Mines and Energy. Β The news of his death has so far taken over the top headlines in the media community in Liberia with tributes and reflections of his life and contributions to Liberia and the larger society, being the talk of the time.
