It is with heavy heart that the Mangonfiah and Kola Tree families announce the passing of Ma Wehye Pillah Mangonfiah in her 88th year. This sad event occurred on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at about 10:00 A.M. at her Zayzay Community Residence in Paynesville. Her remains has since been moved to the Heaven Gate Funeral Home in Tappita City, Lower Nimba County, pending her burial on January 11, 2025. Ma Wehye Pillah was a devoted Mother of all children, a dedicated Midwife, a devout Christian, a politically spirited woman in community and national politics; generally committed to the welfare and development of Nimba and Nimbaians, she will dearly be missed. Please address all inquiries, communication, contributions or goodwill to the family members listed below. All contributions, and or donations are to be made on or before Sunday, January 6, 2025.
