As a means of inspiring employees who have worked with the Judiciary for many years, Chief

Justice Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay Sr. has embarked on a new initiative to motivate those who have

worked diligently in line with administrative goals and policies.

On Friday, December 19, 2025, the names of many employees were called in recognition of their

outstanding performance during their service with the judiciary, something which brought smiles to many faces.

The selection was based on employees ' hard work and dedication to the Judiciary from various circuit courts in the country.

Those employees were also certified, and a purse of USD200.00   given as a token of appreciation from the hands of the Chief Justice.

During the ceremony, the Chief Justice told the honorees that: “As a support staff, you have made history.

Thousands have worked and continue to work in the Judiciary, but you have been selected first by God and the leadership of the Judiciary to give you your flower while alive for your commitment and dedication to the service of our country and your passion for your job.”

The Chief Justice also told the audience that one of the golden rules of life is, “Whatever you do,  do it to the best of your ability.”

Giving the honorees more praise, he said, “We have assembled here today to recognize, appreciate, and honor these patriotic, hardworking individuals. Being result-oriented personalities, you show a splendid performance in your tasks to the best of your abilities.”

He further noted that, “In other words, your bosses, colleagues, and the public in general have attested to your abilities, commitment, and dedication to duties; that is to say, you report to work daily, you report to work on time, leave work on time, perform your tasks, and above all, perform others' tasks when they are not available,” amongst other things he added.

For his part, Cllr William B. Kollie, Sr., Court Administrator, said the program was part of Chief Justice Gbeisay’s bench initiative, which will continue yearly, and hoped for an increase in the appreciation purse. He urged other employees to work diligently and be part of next year&#39s program.
