The Management Team of Cemenco, a cement manufacturing company, has announced its commitment to sponsor the treatment of over 200 cancer patients at the JFK Medical Center.

This initiative is estimated to cost approximately $22,000 and aims to provide essential support for those battling this challenging disease.

Mr, Victor Johnson Saah, President of the Cemenco Staffers Association, stated that the initiative is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts to assist cancer patients facing life-threatening illnesses, reaffirming their commitment to the health and well-being of the community.

Saah, who also serves as the Chairman of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (CSR), disclosed that the initiative is set to commence on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the JFK Medical Center compound in Sinkor.

The announcement comes at a critical time when healthcare resources for cancer treatment are urgently needed. “The new management team has been very receptive, and we are optimistic about making progress in addressing the medical needs of our people,” he remarked.

In addition to sponsoring cancer patients, Saah mentioned ongoing efforts to secure medical supplies and medications for employees and their families.

He made this disclosure over the weekend when he received an award from Excellent Media Incorporated as the Outstanding President of the Cemenco Staffers Association.

Saah further, noted that they are collaborating with Lucky Pharmacy, G2 Pharmacy, and Biomedical Company to procure medical supplies for the 200 patients. “We are in discussions with various suppliers and hope to finalize arrangements soon,” he said, indicating that the company is dedicated to ensuring the health and welfare of its staff.

As Cemenco continues to play a pivotal role in supporting cancer patients and enhancing employee welfare, the company sets a strong example of corporate responsibility, demonstrating that businesses can make a significant difference in their communities.
