Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Daniel O. Sando, has branded officials of the former President George Weah Administration as “common thieves.”
Sando also accused them of massive corruption, branding them as bunch of thieves, whose only aims were to loot the country’s wealth.
He spoke before a cross view of journalists during MICAT’s regular press briefing on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Sando said that the Weah regime was visionless, thereby failing to prioritize the interests of the Liberian people.
“We strongly suspected that the Chief of Staff in the office of former President Weah was always under the influence of drugs or alcohol,” Sando alleged.
Lenn Eugene Nagbe is yet to response to Sando’s latest description of the erstwhile administration.
It is believe that Sando’s remarks were in response to Mr. Nagbe recent criticism against the sitting government.
Mr. Sando also criticized ex-officials for making unverified claims, particularly allegations that the Executive Protection Service (EPS) chief had plotted to harm Mr. Weah.
