Bong Lawmaker Donates To JAWEJEH, Malema Residents

As part of efforts to improve infrastructure development in his district, Bomi County District #2 Representative, Mannah Bishop Johnson, has donated to the people of JAWEJEH and Malema Towns in Klay District, Bomi County, 60 bundles of zinc and zinc nails, aimed at providing much-needed shelter for the communities.
The events which brought together youths, elders, women, students, civil society actors and traditional leaders from across Goblah Clan and its environs, took place over the weekend in JAWEJEH and Malema.
Rep. Bishop Johnson during the presentation put the estimated cost of donated items as over 5,000USD.
He also described the gesture as one of the fulfillments of his promises and kind gestures towards the people of JAWEJEH and Malema, revealing that it was not a campaign message (s) or promises from his office, but a way to ensure that the living conditions of the people infrastructure wise are improved.
At the same time, the Clan Chief of Goblah Clan in Klay District, Oldman Konah Gboko, said
residents of JAWEJEH and Malema Towns have been facing challenges with roofing, and this donation is expected to bring relief since over decades returning from the Liberian Civil War.
The team of Representative Johnson delivered the zinc, hoping that it reached the intended beneficiaries safely and community leaders expressed their gratitude, highlighting the positive impact of the donation .
The Klay District lawmaker also promised the people of JAWEJEH Town a modern guest house while describing the town as the best in Bomi County; according to him, survey done over the years captured the rich culture, tradition, togetherness and commitment in standing for the truth.
“My commitment to improving lives of the people is an evidence of my actions as I have been described by the people as a TALK N DO representative in Bomi County, the initiative demonstrates my leadership and dedication to Bomi County and its people,” he noted.
The zinc donation also appears to be an act of kindness that will have lasting impact on JAWEJEH and Malema Towns.
