The Office of Maryland County Senator James Biney has vehemently refuted Montserrado District Ten Representative Yekeh Kolubah’s allegations of Senator Biney’s involvement in plans to remove House Speaker Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa. Representative Kolubah during separate media engagements recently accused Senator Biney and others of attending meetings held to mobilize resources for the removal of embattled Speaker Koffa. The Montserrado District Ten Representative also asserted that Senator Biney attended two separate meetings with Finance Minister Augustine Nguafueh at the “A La Lagoon and the National Port Authority Managing Director, Sekou Dukuly at Bella Casa Hotel, geared towards discussions in pursuit of the removal of Cllr. Koffa as Speaker of the House of Representatives. In reaction to Representative Kolubah allegations, the Chief of Office Staff in the office of Senator Biney termed as baseless lies, misinformation and loose comments coming from Representative Kolubah. Addressing a press conference Friday, December 6, Hillary Toe indicated that at no time did Senator Biney attend a meeting with any member of the House of Representatives, officials of government or individuals to discuss the issue of the removal of Speaker Koffa as claimed by Representative Kolubah. COS Hillary Toe clarified that Senator Biney respects and acknowledges the independence of the Judiciary and will never interfere with the removal of Speaker Koffa. He, at the same time, called on the public not to give credence to statements coming from Montserrado County District Ten Representative Kolubah, noting that they represent fabricated falsehood. In furtherance, Toe asserted that since the ascendancy of Senator Biney  at the National Legislature in 2003 up to Present, he has distinguished himself and  kept an impeccable character and would do nothing at the height of his political career to destroy such reputation he has built.  Source: MY MEDIA Global News
