Barsi – Giah said the workshop served as critical opportunity to train national stakeholders on Liberia’s computerized energy information system, and   is significant turning point for the technical team in Liberia’s collective push towards efficient data collection in the energy sector.

“NOCAL recognizes this workshop as a pivotal initiative led by ECOWAS. This initiative embodies the essence of the ARREST agenda, and we applaud your ongoing efforts to enhance regional cooperation across West Africa,” the NOCAL VP noted.

He said historically, Liberia has faced substantial challenges in aggregating reliable data across various government sectors, but with the initiative and  formation of the National Energy Sector Working Group, he is  confident that Liberia will soon join its regional counterparts in successfully generating and maintaining an up-to-date computerized energy information website complete with accurate data.

Barsi – Giah commended the technical team for their exemplary performance and promised NOCAL unwavering readiness to provide the team with all necessary data to ensure the website’s viability.
