Authorities at the Ministry of Education (MoE) have announced an “absolute tuition free” schools for all school-going pupils.
In its recent reports, MOE says, beginning the 2026/2027 academic year, “ALL public schools from Kindergarten through 6th Grade are ABSOLUTELY FREE!”
Henceforth, parents are advised to take their children to school and just hand them to the registrar.
No Tuition.
MoE says there will be no registration fees; no project fees; no teacher appreciation fees, and no
hidden charges.
“Education is FREE for every child in public schools from Kindergarten to Grade 6!” the Ministry announced.
Although, parents have welcomed the latest development, some of them are of the opinions that MoE should empower the instructional staff, or else, some the teachers, specifically those assigned in rural communities would formulate halfhearted
insolence to the profession.
