The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has confirmed terminating the services of two Action Agents, (AAs).
The two affected agents are identified as Emmanuel Soluteh, and Joseph Dahn.
Their dismissal followed investigations that established “gross misconduct, and serious violations of the Agency’s code of conduct.”
Emmanuel Soluteh was assigned at the Agency’s Headquarters in Fiamah Sinkor, while Joseph Dahn, was assigned at the LDEA Nimba County Detachment, with oversight in Ganta City.
According to a release, the dismissal of the pair, followed recommendations the LDEA Board of Internal Inquiry instituted.
The affected pair have been dismissed, and removed from all LDEA employment, volunteer, and vetting processes.
LDEA assured the public that it maintains a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, and will not tolerate any action that undermines the rule of law, human rights, or the integrity of the Agency.
“Therefore, any volunteer, or officer acting outside of the law will not be excused, or shielded. The public is hereby informed that Emmanuel Soluteh, and Joseph Dahn, are no longer with the Agency, and are not authorized to conduct any business on its behalf.”
