Liberian gospel musician has promised to get a set of skill trainings that would build the capacities of women and girls in Johnsonville Township, Montserrado County.

“They are only asked to buy their own materials and group themselves. By that, I will train them free of charge.”

Testimony Better, one of Liberia’s artists said, she acquired 40 different skills through a global organization referred to as “iRaiser” in 2013, and her heartbeat, is to see women doing something positive.

Her commitment is to volunteer and empower women in District #2, Montserrado County.

Testimony Better made the commitment during a recent meeting convened by the Better Movement in Johnsonville Township.

She also cautioned her colleagues (women) to do something positive that would sustain their lives rather than sit down as a woman without doing anything to improve condition of the family.

Testimony Better is also a clergy. She said, women have lots to do to effect a change in the world.

She recalled how she has trained about 300 women over the years in Saclepea, Ganta and Gbarnga (Nimba and Bong counties).

For Pastor Better, the intent to train more women is to actively improve themselves.
