As the political atmosphere in Bong County District #5 heats up, residents of Voloblai and Wolontoe towns, have thrown their full support behind Mr. Stephen Mulbah Kerkula.

Mr. Kerkula has promised to vie for the district representative seat ahead of the 2029 elections.

On behalf of the jubilant crowd, Wolontoe Town Chief, Sumo Flomo, declared voting ages residents’ enthusiasm to vote for Mr. Kerkula should he contest.

Flomo described him as “a man of the people, tested and trusted.”

“We have made our choice clear. The people of Voloblai and Wolontoe will stand with Stephen Mulbah Kerkula, because he has proven to us that leadership is about service, not self-interest, for the people.”

Chief Flomo added: Kerkula has supported our schools, helped our youths, and always responded to our call. That is the kind of person we want to represent us at the legislature.”

He said residents from both towns have begun mobilizing grassroots support to deliver a “landslide victory” for Mr. Kerkula in 2029.”

“This is not about politics; it is about progress. We are tired of leaders, who forget us after elections.”

Mr. Kerkula has been with us long before politics entered the picture; we know he will continue to be with us even after the votes are counted.

Chief Flomo then called on other communities in the district to join their movement with unity, and development being the core for endorsing Kerkula.

“We are sending a clear message across the district. This time, we will vote for results, not promises. We will vote for Stephen Mulbah Kerkula, a leader who listens and delivers.”

In response, Mr. Kerkula expressed gratitude to the people for their trust and confidence in him.

“Your support means everything to me. I am inspired by your faith, and your love. Together, we will build a district where every citizen has access to opportunity, education, and development. This is not a lone journey; it’s our collective mission.”

The ceremony was climaxed by celebrating with residents, who chanted songs of unity, and pledged to begin early campaign.
