Sen. Brown Unveils 2 New Halls

Maryland County Senator J. Gbleh-Bo Brown, has officially handed over two community projects in Karloway District, valued over US$91,000.

The Boneken Market Hall and Manolu Town Hall were funded through a combination of legislative allocations, and sen. Brown’s personal contributions.

The recently held turnover ceremony drew a large crowd, including chiefs, elders, Maryland County Superintendent Henry Cole, Pleebo City Mayor Larry Geekor, Madam Chris Walker, District Inspector and some high profiled dignitaries.

The Boneken Market Hall provides spaces for traders and vendors, enhanced economic activities, while the Manolu Town Hall serves as a central hub for community meetings, administrative functions and holding public events.

 Brown spoke of his commitment to Maryland County’s development. He highlighted the projects’ impact on underserved areas.

Residents expressed gratitude with one vendor saying: “the market hall will transform how we do business in Boneken.”

Another community member, noted how the town hall is a “dream comes true” for holding of important gatherings.

Brown prioritizes infrastructure in the county district, bridging gaps in public facilities through public and private initiatives.

Officials urge residents to maintain the projects for sustained benefits, with further developments anticipated.
