None is responding
None is picking their calls
None is replying to their mails
None is giving them needed attention
There are normal flows of societal things
And the devil is not allowed bigger wings
None is responding to their evil calls
Their wicked agenda continues to fall
Hatred is invited but refuses to stay
For peace and unity are leading the way
Ebola is invited but it is not responding
Civil war is invited but it is not yielding
Trouble is invited but it is not heeding
Calamity is invited but it is not speaking
Erosion is invited but it is not listening
Explosion is invited but it is not coming
Coronavirus is invited but it remains mute
Crisis is invited but shows no pursuit
Darkness is invited to cover the land
But light keeps rising with powerful hands
Confusion is invited to scatter the people
But together they stand stronger and equal
They’re mad since peace continues to flow
They’re sad since unity continues to grow
They’re disturbed since progress still glows
And hope keeps blooming wherever life goes
They’re vexed while the devil rings no bell
They’re vexed while there is no visible hell
They’re vexed while darkness fades at noon
They’re vexed while disaster comes not soon
They’re vexed while war refuses to rise
They’re vexed while truth opens blind eyes
They’re vexed while children laugh and play
And hardworking people survive each day
They’re angry because development blooms
They’re angry because joy fills the rooms
They’re angry because love still survives
And humanity continues rebuilding lives
But peace shall continue to water the ground
And the voices of goodness shall always sound
For evil may gather and secretly plan
Yet goodness will forever strengthen man
None is responding to destruction’s voice
For the people have consciously made their choice
To walk in peace, unity, and brighter ways
And build better tomorrows from today’s days.
