Congo Town, Liberia – Lonestar Cell MTN has opened a new service center at the newly dedicated Monrovia Super Mall to provide shoppers and visitors with convenient access to essential customer care and telecommunications services.
Located strategically on the ground floor of the mall, the service center immediately captures attention with its attractive yellow MTN-branded design, giving customers easy visibility upon entering the facility. The modern and digitally advanced center offers a wide range of services including SIM card registration and retrieval, MTN Mobile Money transactions, MoMo Pay services, PIN reset, exchange of ownership, upgrading of Mobile Money limits, sale of internet routers, e-SIM services, SIM swap, data packages and other customer support services.
Speaking in an interview with the Liberian Business Hour, C. Foday Emeh, Lonestar Cell MTN Corporate Communications Manager described the facility as a “MoMo Experience Service Center” and a one-stop shop for all MTN GSM services.
According to him, the center was established to enhance service delivery and assist customers in resolving issues they may encounter while using MTN services.
He noted that the opening of the facility reflects the company’s continued commitment to expanding access to quality telecommunications services across Liberia.
“This is just one of the expansions of MTN footprints as we gear towards catering to the new Liberia mindset, which is cosmopolitan, and the mall has come to set that up,” he said.
Emeh further emphasized the strategic location of the service center, noting that it is easily accessible and visible from both the front and back entrances of the mall, something he said aligns with the MTN slogan, “Everywhere You Go.”
He also disclosed that beyond the customer service representatives stationed at the center, additional MTN agents dressed in official company attire move throughout the mall to assist customers and businesses, ensuring users receive the best possible experience.
Meanwhile, Customer Service Representative Demel Rogers revealed that the center operates daily from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM. She explained that services such as SIM reset, e-SIM activation and account upgrading are offered free of charge, while services including data bundle purchases, internet routers and SIM swap attract standard service fees.
According to Rogers, pricing at the new center remains consistent with all other MTN points of sale across Liberia.
