LNP Public Safety Division Concludes3- Day Training Workshop For Motorcyclists

As part of efforts to reduce road traffic accidents and casualties along the major corridors across the country, the Public Safety Division of the Liberia National Police (LNP) has completed a three (3) days intensive training workshop for Motorcyclists in three (3) counties.  Those three (3) counties the workshop were conducted include: Nimba, Bong and Margibi Counties respectively.  According to report, in Nimba County, about one hundred (100) motorcyclists were trained while in Bong County the same one hundred (100) motorcyclists were also trained as well as the same one hundred (100) motorcyclists were also trained in Margibi County. The report further stated that, the total number of motorcyclists that were trained from the three (3) days intensive training workshop organized by the Public Safety Division of the Liberia National Police (LNP) were three hundred (300). The report added that, the three (3) days training workshop for motorcyclists in those three (3) counties was geared toward reducing road traffic accidents and casualties along the major corridors.  The report further quoted the Chief of Public Safety at the Liberia National Police (LNP), Mr. Fred M. Gaye as saying that, the initiative they have embarked upon will be extended to other counties across Liberia.  According to him, the Public Safety Division at the LNP is very much concern about the Safety of its citizens.  The Chief of Public Safety Mr. Gaye stated that, providing training opportunities for motorcyclists, including drivers across the country about Road Safety is very much paramount on their agenda. 

The LNP Chief of Public Safety also lauded, his boss Police Inspector-General Gregory Coleman for been supportive to the smooth operation of his Division. For their part, the participants from the three (3) days intensive training workshop organized by the Public Safety Division of the Liberia National Police (LNP) lauded them for providing such training opportunity.  The participants added that, the training provided them by the Public Safety Division of the Liberia National Police (LNP) for motorcyclists started on Tuesday, February 17th up to February 18th 2025.
