The Konbah Leadership Academy (KLA), has successfully launched its 2025/2026 academic year with a backpacks and school supplies to the students.
The distribution exercise was a heartwarming display of community solidarity and generosity.
The initiatives, which provided essential materials to students was spearheaded by the Academy leadership with support from its partners and donors.
The distributions of the backpacks filled with school supplies was given to students, who have registered, thus preparing them for enrollment.
The donation, which covered both new and old students, took place in Dixville with school going children, and parents gracing the occasion.
Following the donation, the Chief Executive Officer, Madam Madia K. Moore, expressed deep gratitude to the donors whose contributions made the drive possible.
“Your investment in our students, has created a lasting impact, because of your generosity; our students are beginning the school year with confidence, and the tools they need to succeed,” she said.
Some parents described the drive as not only a logistical success, but a powerful symbol of the Academy mission to support families faced with economic challenges.
The proprietor of the school, Reverend Arthur N. Gbotoe, expressed the believe that every child deserves a fair start, adding that the initiative has brought his belief to reality.
Rev. Gbotoe used the occasion to recognize staffers for their tireless efforts in preparing, and distributing supplies among the future leaders.
He highlighted the dedication in ensuring smooth execution of the initiative, pointing out the Academy cultural service, and care to the young generation.
With continued support from our donors and partners, he said, the academy will expand its impact and commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
The Co-chair of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Madam Comfort Kanneh, commended the vision bearer of the school for the donation.
‘We are grateful to God and to KLA’s CEO and proprietor for the incredible support to our children academic journey.”
KLA was established in 2022, but officially opened its academic activity in 2023/2024.
Since its establishment, KLA has quickly become a beacon of educational hope in the community, ranging from its recent drive that had reinforced her commitment to inclusive education and community empowerment.
