“Karfiah Delivers”

-Bong Citizen Asserts

Abraham Mulbah of Tassah Town, Electoral District #1, said Bong County has witnessed a rare example of leadership that goes beyond empty promises.

Mulbah said Edward Karfiah is transforming the agricultural landscape through his “Triple R” Vision, Rescue, Rebuild, and Restore, putting the county on track to become a major orange-producing region.

He recalled that during the 2023 senatorial elections, Karfiah distributed thousands of orange seedlings to farmers in every part of the county.

He said the initiative was not just symbolic, but a long-term, income-generating opportunity designed to uplift households and communities.

Mulbah noted that while critics initially doubted the program, claiming the seedlings would not thrive, the project is now flourishing.

The orange trees, though not yet bearing fruit, are expected to produce harvests in two to three years, providing a sustainable source of income for local farmers.

Mulbah highlighted that the initiative has revitalized hope in rural communities, encouraging farmers to invest in their land, and motivating young people to see agriculture as a viable path for employment and entrepreneurship.

He further explained that Karfiah’s approach demonstrates how strategic planning can address food security challenges in the county.

By promoting large-scale orange farming, the program is set to enhance both local consumption and commercial trade, positioning Bong County as a key contributor to Liberia’s agricultural economy.

Mulbah pointed out that Karfiah’s results-driven approach stands in stark contrast to the inaction of other local leaders.

While many of the farmers were focused on political showmanship, Karfiah has reportedly prioritized sustainable, long-term development, proving that visionary leadership can deliver tangible change.

He noted that with the seedlings flourishing across multiple communities, Bong County is on the verge of becoming Liberia’s leading orange-producing region.

Karfiah’s efforts, according to him, have set a benchmark for other leaders, showing that practical action, not empty promises, drives real progress.

Mulbah also observed that the program’s success is likely to inspire further investment in agriculture and related industries, creating ripple effects that could boost the county’s overall economy.

He stressed that Bong County’s farmers are now positioned to transform small plots of land into productive orchards, fostering economic independence and stability for generations to come.

Mulbah said Karfiah’s Triple R Vision is a model of how targeted, well-executed initiatives can reshape communities, proving that even in a political climate filled with talkers, action is what truly delivers results.
