Drugs ‘Kill’ 4 In Soul Clinic

Just a week following the well-attended solidarity march under the slogan: “Say No To Drug” campaign, four persons have reportedly died from “substance abuse.”

The tragedy struck the New Keymah Town community, Soul Clinic, earlier Wednesday, August 13, 2025, as four young men were found in critical condition (unconscious) as a result of reported drug abuse.

Despite urgent efforts to save them ‘rest-in=peace,’ one of the victims, Archie Korpue, known as the community most popular son, lost his life.

According to local residents, the incident left the tight-knit neighborhood in shock. The devastating news spread quickly, leaving families and community members deeply saddened.

The community mourns the loss of these young lives and underscores the ongoing dangers posed by drug abuse.

Leaders and residents have meanwhile called for increased awareness and action to protect youth from the deadly consequences of narcotic and other illegal substances.
