The initiative reflects a broader commitment to support local entrepreneurs, as Madam Randall noted while the process is currently undergoing, renovations are being carried on.
Although these improvements have faced delays, they are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

“We do not register or certify any business that belong to foreigners or aliens,” she added: Pointing out that there are several sectors in which only Liberians are permitted to operate.
She pledged to investigate any cases where foreigners are believed to be fronting for Liberian businesses, emphasizing the need for local entrepreneurs to focus on their own opportunities.
This decentralization initiative is expected to empower more Liberians to take advantage of business opportunities within their communities, fostering economic growth and development throughout the country. As the Liberia Business Registry moves forward with these plans, the hope is that it will create a more equitable business environment for all Liberians.
