BATTERY FACTORY INDUCTS NEW LEADERSHIP

Residents of Battery Factory community in Lower New Georgia Township witnessed the third induction ceremony of officers-elect on Sunday, December 29, 2024 under the instrumentality of the induction chairman Mr. Nyankoon E. Freeman, Jr. at the Peaceful Baptist Church. Those inducted are Joseph K. Yorwatei-Chairman, Maima D. Watson-Co-Chairperson, Emmanuel H. Tongie-General Secretary and Musa Bruyne Saryon-Financial Secretary. Others are Korto Togba-Treasurer, Emmanuel Sellue-Youth Chairman, Armah Fahnbulleh-Youth Co-Chairman and George Kamara-Youth Secretary. In his inaugural address, Chairman Yorwatei of the Progress Alliance of Battery Factory (PABF) promised to improve on his shortcomings in the past and intends to enhance governance as he constituted committees on Planning and Development, Health and Sanitation, Security and Grievance and Ethics. There were remarks made by proxies from the offices of Representative Edward P. Flomo, New Georgia Township Commissioner and the Elders Council off the Battery Factory community.
