Africa Arise Honors AFL Dr. Alberta Clark-Kollie By Julius Konton

Africa Arise, which is an inclusive youth-led organization platform dedicated to safeguarding the aspirations of young people across Africa, has honored the Commander of the 14 Military Hospital, Doctor Alberta Clark-Kollie.

Dr. Clark-Kollie is a Major in the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL), but assigned as a medical doctor at the hospital.

The Africa Arise honor, was among other things, meant to motivate Dr. Clark-Kollie for her “dedication and commitment to her military and the medical professional duties.”

At the presentation ceremony, Dr. (Maj) Alberta Clark-Kollie, called on both the military and civilian staffs to uphold the tenants of dedication and transparency in their respective assigned places of works.

She meanwhile motivated co-workers to do more on the job, emphasizing the importance of duty and respect, while reminding them that their actions are always observed daily.

Dr. (Maj) Clrk-Kollie, appreciated the Africa Arise for the honor and assured them that the special recognition will serve as a motivation for her and other staff members to do more.

 

Also, Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Kowo, AFL Assistant Chief of Staff for Health Services reaffirmed the 14 Military Hospital’s commitment to maintaining professional standards among the nation’s health institutions.

Lt/Col. Kowo expressed gratitude to Africa Arise for the recognition, stating: “The honor also extends to the AFL High Command and the Ministry of National Defense for their leadership and oversight role at the hospital.
