Supt. PR Resigns Amidst Corruption

Amidst report of persistent corrupt act, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for River Gee County Superintendent Mike T Swengbe, has resigned his post.

Christian Poka, resignation came in the wake of growing concerns over alleged corruption and governance issues.

Poka announced his decision on Facebook, citing personal and professional growth as reasons for his immediate departure from the office of the superintendent.

Poka’s resignation adds fuel to the corruption fire as the county faces intense scrutiny over alleged financial mismanagement, including a missing L$801,282 and US$230.

Supt. Swengbe has denied all corruption allegations, claiming the steering committee owes him L$600,000.

The controversy has sparked widespread calls for transparency and accountability, with citizens demanding answers on the use of public funds meant for development projects.

Poka’s departure may heighten concerns about stability within the county leadership.

His resignation as PRO from the office of the Superintendent, has left residents wondering about the real reason behind the sudden departure.

While Poka cited personal and professional growth as motivations, many believe there’s more to the story, especially given the ongoing corruption allegations, and governance concerns surrounding Supt. Swengbe.
