Maryland County Senator J. Glebo Brown, has vowed to tackle the transportation woes plaguing the Karluway District Police.

By that, Sen. Brown has promised to provide the necessary support to enhance their mobility and security services.

This commitment comes after the Commander, Samuel Brown, highlighted the district’s police challenges.

Samuel cited inadequate transportation as a major hindrance to effective law enforcement and timely responses.

Sen. Brown’s pledges aims to address the mobility constraints affecting police operations, and the overall law and order in the area.

“As a senator, I have previously demonstrated my commitment to infrastructure development, dedicating projects worth US$55,000 in Karluway, including an elementary school; a wooden bridge, and steel mills.”

He also presented the Maryland Vocational Training Institute Act to the county to boost human resource development and employment opportunities.

Sen. Brow’s efforts focus on infrastructure and livelihood development, with previous projects, including a school building in Gbiabo, and support for disadvantaged youths.

The mobility support, is expected to be delivered soon. It will ease the challenges facing the police, enabling them to patrol communities, respond to emergencies, and maintain law and order effectively.

For that, the Commander welcomed the senator’s pledge, saying: “it will significantly improve our operations.”

Sen. Brown’s office has meanwhile, worked to address the issue, aligning with the senator’s focus on infrastructure development and security enhancement.
