Residents of Panta District have reportedly raised concerns over the prong absence of their elected lawmaker, Robert Flomo Womba of Electoral District Number #4.

As such, they believed that the district is in crisis, while the lawmaker remains out of touch, leaving communities frustrated, neglected, and abandoned.

Chris Tokpa from Garmue Town told reporters that the district is in shock.

He noted that Rep. Womba has never returned to thank the constituents or check on their well-beings; a failure that has left residents feeling ignored and betrayed.

Tokpa described the situation as a total collapse of leadership and accountability.

Junior Flomo from Bellemu added: “Residents have no information about the lawmaker activities, projects, or plans. This silence is deliberate neglect,” noting that the district continues to suffer from infrastructure decay and unaddressed social needs while the lawmaker stays away.

Alfred Kollie from Gbarnga-Siaquelleh condemned the lawmaker dismissive attitude.

Residents collectively warn that the district cannot continue to survive under a lawmaker, who ignores his duties.

Chris Tokpa said the people are forced to fend for themselves, while Womba remains absent, leaving no leadership, guidance, or accountability.

Junior Flomo said the continued neglect is a betrayal of public trust. He believes that the constituents will hold the lawmaker politically, and socially responsible if he continues to abandon the district.

Alfred Kollie said the people are no longer willing to remain silent. He called for immediate engagement, accountability, and tangible action from Rep. Womba, insisting that the district cannot endure under a lawmaker who is absent, dismissive, and unresponsive.

For Panta District, the situation reflects systemic neglect and leadership failure, a district left to suffer while its elected representative hides from responsibility. Residents are now demanding answers, accountability, and visible leadership before the crisis worsens.

However, when contacted via WhatsApp, Rep. Womba replied: “If you like, go to Forquelleh, Yatana, and other parts of the district. There are more damaging stories there for you to report.”
