Joekai Urges ZRTTI Graduates

The Director-General of the Civil Service Agency (CSA), Josiah F. Joekai, has challenged graduates of the Zorzor Rural Teacher Training Institute (ZRTTI) to see themselves not merely as classroom teachers, but nation builders whose influence will shape the future.

Joekai comment was contained in his keynote address during the graduation ceremony of ZRTTI’s 15th Cohort on Saturday, July 11.

He spoke of teachers playing a vital role in molding minds, building character and inspiring future leaders.

Joekkai said, educators lay the foundation for national development long before institutions are strengthened.

A total of 52 aspiring professional teachers graduated with ‘C’ Certificates during the ceremony.

Dr. Joekai congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to embrace their responsibilities with dedication, integrity and a commitment to excellence.

He highlighted government’s commitment to education, noting that the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID) places education at the center of national transformation.

Joekai described quality education as a powerful tool to reduce poverty, expand opportunities, strengthen democracy, promote social mobility and drive economic growth.

“The vision of the ARREST Agenda cannot be realized without institutions such as ZRTTI and without dedicated teachers like the graduates we celebrate today.”
