Former Bong County Electoral District #7 representative candidate, Jacob S. Jackson, has returned to Lomata Community in Damma Clan, Sanoyea District.
Jackson’s return in a gesture of appreciation to locals, who supported his bid during the 2023 elections.
The one-day visit brought together residents, local leaders, and supporters, who played a role in his political campaign under the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC). Jackson said, the engagement was meant to personally thank the community for their support and solidarity despite his defeat.
Jackson emphasized the need for a leadership that does not end with election results.
He said, continued engagement with the locals remains important for development and community progress.
He told the inhabitants that his visit reflects his commitment to remain connected with them.
Jackson has remained active since the 2023 elections.
He said, maintaining contact with residents, and continuing to support aspects of his development agenda was necessary.
He added that his focus remains on addressing community needs and contributing to development efforts where possible.
Jackson is currently holding consultations with residents as part of preparations ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Residents who attended the appreciation program, welcomed Jackson’s return, which some of them described as a respectful and positive gesture.
The program ended on a cordial note, with residents and Jackson expressing a shared commitment to continued engagement and cooperation for the development of Sanoyea District.
