“Foreigners Must      Have Limit”

… Dr. Dorbor

Dr. Peter Dorbor, has said that in as much Liberia is a ‘free’ country, foreigners should have limitations by knowing their rightful place in society, and must not have their own ways.

Dorbor is the Apostle of the Fire World Pentecostal Assembly Ministries (FWPAM), located in Matadi Community.

He made the disclosure recently on a radio talk show in Monrovia.

Dorbor said despite Liberia being a country that practice freedom of speech, movement and religious tolerant, “foreigners must not infringe on the rights of others by disrespecting the laws.”

He called on law enforcement officers, most especially the police, not to allow any citizens or foreigners to interpose their lawful duties.

Dorbor condemned the recent encounter between police officers and a Fula woman, who was resisting arrest as ‘lawless behavior,’ which he said, cannot happen in any other country, most especially in Guinea Republic.

He vehemently denied Liberians being “free in other countries” when they travelled, as there are limitations in whatever they do.

Dorbor labelled Liberians as people that are “respecters of authorities.”

His comment comes in the wake of the recent incident that occurred between officers of the Liberian National Police (LNP) a Fula woman, Zinah Bah, who was noncompliance and engaged in acts of aggression in the face of ‘power theft.’

Dr. Dorbor meanwhile, called on Liberians to pray for the nation, while urging churches and national leaders to lovingly come together and also collectively pray for the country.

He admonished church leaders to put aside envy and greed, and focus on God’s work, adding: “We should at least pray for the country once or twice a month, “because, this is lacking among us.”

Dorbor said the Wednesday, July 30, 2025, one day pray as declared by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai after Liberia’s 178 Independence Day celebration, was done in ‘good standing and faith.’  He then urged Liberians to always look up to God for direction.
