District #12 Not Happy With Rep. Yorgbor

By Reuben A. Yuan

Residents of District #12 in Montserrado County, said, they are not happy with their lawmaker.

As such, they have taken issue with Representative, Jerry Yorgbor for not responding to the needs of the district’s developments.

Some of them feel Yorgbor has a lukewarm approach to rehabilitate the destroyed roads in various communities.

Residents said, the situation has made travel difficult for low cars, whose operators cannot freely access the roads.

With that condition, locals have become confused and frustrated. Some of them now wondered why Yorgbor reneged on his promise to recondition the roads and initiate new projects.

Even though, it is the raining season time, according to some locals, no matter how heavy the rain falls, they never experienced such deplorable road prior to the election of Yorgbor.

For now, they blame him for the “half-bake rehabilitation” he did, but it has worsened the situation.    They informed reporters that Rep. Yorgbor presence was visible in various communities when he vigorously campaigned; something some of them thought would have continued, but on the contrary.

The narrative has dramatically changed to the extent that some of the locals have requested Yorgbor to ensure that the roads, particularly, Shoes factory side, which has gone three inches deep into the grand be repaired.

The deplorable road has meanwhile, created a serious swimming pool that delay travel time.

The lackadaisical attitude exhibited by the Rep. Yorgbor towards the communities, as claimed by residents, is nondescript given that his visibility has become invincible until projects he earlier initiated have stalled.

The action and inaction of Yorgbor has created a kind of bitterness against him by residents, who have become eager to remove him if election was held today in the District #12.

The situation has also become an epicenter of discussion by commuters, and those who are convinced that Yorgbor does not have the district at heart.

On two different occasions, efforts reporters made to ascertain information from the district’s office did not materialize as the office remained deserted.

Yorgbor’s phone has remained switch-off up to press time late last night.
